Entropy of the Universe is Ever-increasing

I recently read "The Redemption of Time" by Baoshu. A brilliant Fanfiction in the "Three-Body Problem" Universe.

Baoshu writes powerfully about difficult concepts. His central thesis, involving dimensional collapse as the key to explaining the evolution of the universe, is an absolute stunner.

I am presenting the Thesis with some of my own additions and interpretations drawn from Ancient Indian Philosophy.

In the Beginning...

In the beginning, there was a Ten-dimensional universe. 9 dimensions plus almost non-existent Time. An universe with Infinite Energy, Zero Entropy and where everything happens in an instant, in a moment. Travel from Point A to B happens instantly before you complete thinking about it. The universe consists only Light and Light travels with Infinite Speed.

It's a perfect World. Beautiful and Brilliant. The Creator or Bramha is very pleased.

Perfect is not Enough!

The Creator said, "Let there be Light. And there was Light." That's Bramha. A 10-Dimensional Perfect Universe was created.  No Shadows. No Darkness. Only Light... and Infinite Energy. Also, Speed of Light is Infinite and consequently, Time doesn't exist.

The Creator's Child is named the Lurker in the novel, He felt that this universe is not enough. Time is non-existent hence there is no scope for memories. Good or bad. No "Having a Good Time". No Love. No Heartbreaks.  And No Nostalgia. Since there is no suffering, there is No Enjoyment as well.

Kaal

Driven towards adding Value to Time, the Lurker said, "Let there be Time. And Time was born".

This led to inevitable collapsing of a Dimension leading to creation of Quantum Realm. Shadows were added, as a consequence. Dark matter is created separating Oceans of Energy. Time is born or rather it gets a value, a meaning. The Entropy starts rising and Speed of Light starts dropping.

In Indian Mythology the word Kaal means both "Time" and "Death".

Pralay!

Kaal or the Lurker felt "Too much is not Enough". I want more. I want to enjoy my successes, even if it means suffering for my failures. I want more "Time". And further Dimensions started collapsing. One by One. Time or "Kaal" became stronger.

Each Dimensional Collapse is Pralay. After each Pralay, new cycle starts, and the Speed of light drops further. Presently we are at a stage after 7 collapses... living in the 8th universe which has only 3 dimensions. Other 6 dimensions are curled or folded in Quantum Realm and of course we Time has definite value.

The 8th Avatar

Incidentally, the 8th Avatar is "Krishna" in Indian Mythology. The 8th iteration might be a "Complete One", as there exists a potential for a balance between "Enlightenment" and "Passage of Time". That's why Krishna is termed as "Purna" Avatar.

There is a promise of 9th and 10th Avataar. The 3D universe has not been reset yet so these Avataars are yet to appear. Mythologically, 9th would be Venkateshwar where Lakshmi goes away from Vishnu. Maybe an interpretation of the collapse of the universe to 2 dimensions. All wealth is "Flattened".

The 10th Avataar is Kalki, who would reset the universe back to 10 Dimensions (9 plus Time having zero value). ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜‡

The Indian scriptures describe all the Avatars within the present 3D Realm. ...However, we can reinterpret the same as above, based on "The Redemption of Time" by Baoshu.

Tandava, the Divine Dance

Tandava is the Divine dance that is the source for the cycle of Creation, Preservation and Dissolution. The Rudra Tandava depicts the violent nature of Universe, first as the creator and later as the destroyer of the universe. Kaal is the child of the Divine Force who gives value to Time and also causes Decay or Death as a consequence.

If The Divine is Enthalpy, Kaal is Entropy.

The cycle of creation and destruction is a cosmic dance of the Forces eternally seeking a Balance between Light and Time. Between Bramha and Kaal.

Reboot!

The perfect balance, the perfect iteration also has to decay and end. That's the price to be paid for desiring "Time". By definition, eventually, Time runs out! The Reset and Restart is inevitable.

Makhtoob, It's Written!

After each reboot the universe evolves exactly as before ... Or with a variation!

However, It is all written!

In the last chapter of Redemption, Baoshu imagines how the most infinitesimal change in the balance of energy in the universe will change history once the universe is “reborn”. In this way the cycle will not repeat exactly as before. It will not be an exact "Replay". Giving a chance to refine the Balance. For a Better Balance!  Till the next Reset!

If you’re prepared to have your brain turned inside-out by mini-verses and alternate history and time dilation, then you need to start reading the series yesterday.  Or would you prefer to wait for the next iteration?  ๐Ÿ˜‰
